BABYMONSTER debuts on Billboard's Billboard 200 chart eight months after debut...and continues to dominate global charts
According to the latest chart released by Billboard in the U.S. on Nov. 11 (local time), BABYMONSTER's first studio album DRIP entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 149. The Billboard 200 is based on the performance of albums in the U.S., and it is highly unusual for a K-pop newcomer to reach the chart eight months after debuting.
BABYMONSTER is not only performing well on Billboard, but also on various music charts around the world. The album debuted at No. 1 in 14 regions on the iTunes Albums chart, and peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart. It has also been a huge hit in Asia, peaking at number one on the Japanese Line Music Album Top 100 real-time chart.
BABYMONSTER's success continues on Spotify. DRIP, one of the double's title tracks, has been on the Spotify Daily Top Songs global chart for eight consecutive days and is currently at a new high of #109.
BABYMONSTER has been receiving enthusiastic responses from global fans since the beginning of their debut, and we're excited to see what's next for the group. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
