SEVENTEEN Earns Japan 'Platinum' Certification for Mini 12th Album...Oricon Chart, Dome Tour Continue to Boost Popularity

Group SEVENTEEN has achieved great success in Japan with its mini-12th album "SPILL THE FEELS". According to the Japan Record Association, the album was certified "platinum" in October with cumulative shipments exceeding 250,000 copies. This is the third gold disc certification for SEVENTEEN this year, a testament to their strong fan base in Japan.

 

"SPILL THE FEELS" debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart upon its release, and went on to become the most No. 1 album by an overseas artist on both the Weekly Album Chart and the Combined Album Chart, demonstrating SEVENTEEN's unrivaled popularity in Japan. The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart.

 

SEVENTEEN will continue their local activities with their Japanese dome tour, SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN. Starting in Nagoya at the end of November, the group will perform at major Japanese domes in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka to meet with fans.

 

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN has additionally released the title track of their mini 12th album, "LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled) (Kenia OS Remix)". The remix, featuring Mexican artist Kenia OS, adds a sweet tone and romantic sensibility to the original song, giving it a new charm, and is receiving great response from fans.
