BTS Jin Releases 'Journey' Concept Photo

Jin of BTS has released a concept photo for his upcoming solo album, "Happy."

Jin shared photos and videos of "Journey," the first concept for "Happy," on the team's official social media on Aug. 18.

The concept photo depicts moments of happiness in real life, using his real-life hobbies of camping, tennis, and cooking as inspiration, and shows him relaxing in front of a camper. In another, he's transformed into a "tennis prince," pondering something under a wall of tennis rackets hung as artwork."

The accompanying concept film looks like it was shot on an old camcorder. It has a vintage vibe throughout, with everyday noises adding to the natural feel.

Gene values the happiness that time spent on oneself brings, and believes it's what fuels life. He said he captured these thoughts in the Journey concept photography and video.

Following "Journey," Jin will unveil "Imagine" on the 20th and "Navigate" on the 22nd, with the first letter of each version being his English name, JIN.

On the new album, JIN candidly shares his thoughts on happiness and expresses his love for ARMY (ARMY.fandom name). The title track, "Running Wild," conveys a bright and warm message of running wild for hope. Prior to the release of the new album, Jin will release the pre-release song "I'll Be There" on May 25 at 1 p.m. to warm up for his comeback.
