BTS' Jin to release solo album 'Happy' in November

Jin of the group BTS will release his debut solo album in November.

 

"Jin's solo album 'Happy' will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 15 at 2 p.m. KST," Big Hit Music announced through global superfan platform Weverse and BTS' official social media accounts on Friday."

 

"Happy" is an album that asks listeners to share in the journey of finding happiness. Through this album, Jin will share his honest thoughts on happiness and convey his warm heart for ARMY (his fan name)."

 

The album will include six songs of various genres based on the band's sound. Jin has previously received acclaim for his first solo single, "The Astronaut," in 2022, as well as his solo songs "Awake," "Epiphany," and "Moon," which were included on the team's album.

 

Jin also released a teaser video on the team's official social media at 0:00 on the 15th to give a glimpse into the vibe of the new album. The video features a sensual combination of vibrant colors, the album title "Happy," and Jin's name. The colorful shapes spilling out from the top of the screen are accompanied by the effect of popping balloons, giving it a party-like feel.

 

Alongside the news of the new album, Gene has been teasing a number of activities to keep fans excited. After demonstrating his global influence as a torchbearer for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics in July, he recently launched his own content, "Run, Seokjin," and appeared on MBC's "It's Good to Be Well Rested." He has also been actively engaging with the public, including confirming his appearance in Netflix's "The Great Drafting Room," which will be released next year.
