"The song made Han Kang cry"...AKMU reverses the music charts
As of 14:00 on the 13th, AKMU's song "How Will I Love You Until We Part," is ranked 24th on the daily chart, according to Korean music site MelonChart. The song is on a steep upward curve as Han Kang's comments have gone viral.
In 2021, Han Kang appeared on the official YouTube channel of his publishing company, Literary Neighborhood, and said that he listened to 'How will I love you until we part, I love you' and was impressed by the song.
"It's impossible for the sea to dry up, isn't it," Han Kang said, referring to the lyrics, "'How could I love you afterward, waiting for our deep love like the sea to dry up would be parting,' and I remember suddenly bursting into tears in a taxi like someone with a story."
"How can I love you until we part, I love you" is a song that Lee Chan-hyuk wrote just before he enlisted in the army and first performed at the 2017 Someday Festival. Despite being unfinished at the time, the song was well-received because it resonated with people going through a breakup. The song's lyrics and musicianship have also been praised and congratulated by the public. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
