Tomorrow X Together's Yeon-jun wrapped up his official activities with 'GGUM' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 26th. He released his solo mixtape 'GGUM' on the 19th and appeared on various music broadcasts, starting with KBS2's 'Music Bank' on the 20th, where he showed his outstanding skills and caught the attention of global music fans.

Yeon-jun looked stunning in a colorful patterned leather outfit and showed off his chops with ear-catching rapping and tight dance moves. The groovy, powerful moves with excellent control and the challenging leg-splitting split choreography left us in awe.

A week after the mixtape's release, nearly 37,000 videos featuring the "GGUM" song had been uploaded to TikTok, Instagram reels, and YouTube shorts by 6 p.m. on Aug. 26.

"GGUM" was named to Spotify's "Best New Tracks" playlist by British music magazine NME, and was named the best new song of the week for September 20 by U.S. magazine Teen Vogue. Other international media outlets have also praised Yeon's performance, including "even experienced artists will pause when they see the choreography in 'GGUM'" (Consequence) and "impeccably fierce and bold" (Nylon). The song's choreography is also praised by many international media outlets.

"GGUM" entered the U.S. Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 5 on the September 28th edition. The chart is based on figures from September 13-19, and the song achieved a record-breaking performance, reaching the top spot after just one day on its release date (September 19).

After topping the real-time song and music video charts on Japanese music site Line Music, the song settled at No. 6 on the song chart and No. 16 on the music video chart in the latest weekly charts (compiled from Sept. 18-24), while Billboard Japan released on Sept. 25 ranked the song at No. 5 on the download chart. "GGUM" is the highest-ranked K-pop song on all three charts this week. On Oricon's Weekly Digital Singles Rankings (Sept. 30), "GGUM" is the only Korean song to make the list at No. 7.

Meanwhile, Tomorrow X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeon-jun, Bumkyu, Taehyun, and Hooningkai), of which Yeonjun is a member, will be holding their third world tour, "TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR," in Jakarta on September 2 and Taipei on September 5-6.
