Park Shin Hye to return to Anbang stage in 'Judge from Hell'... "I will show a new side";
"The Judge from Hell" is a cider action fantasy about the coexistence of good and evil in a hellish reality where a demon, Kang Beom Na (Park Shin Hye), inhabits a judge's body and meets a human, hot-headed detective, Handa On (Kim Jae Young), who becomes a true judge by killing criminals.
Park Shin Hye will play a wicked yet lovable anti-hero in the film, which will be different from her previous roles.
"The script was so interesting," says Park Shin Hye. I was so happy that they gave me something interesting to read at a time when I was struggling with what to do. Also, the different story and characters felt fresh," said Park. "I was also excited to show a different image than many of my previous works," she said, explaining why she chose 'The Judge from Hell' as her next project."
She went on to describe her character, Kang Beet-na, saying, "Kang Beet-na is a demon who is forced to execute the guilty for their mistakes, and she is cold and heartless. She can be seen as an inhuman character who doesn't consider the victim's situation."
"I also think that Lightning's playfulness, crispness, and confidence can sometimes come across as cute. There are comical parts in her lines and situations, so we hope that her charm will be conveyed to the viewers."
SBS's new Friday drama "Judge from Hell" will premiere on May 21 at 10 p.m. for two consecutive episodes. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
