Stray Kids Successfully Wrap First Stadium Concert in Japan, Draws 220,000 Fans Over 4 Days
Stray Kids successfully held their first-ever stadium concert in Japan, attracting a total of 220,000 fans across four days.
The group performed solo concerts on May 10, 11, 17, and 18 at Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa as part of their world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour 'DOMINATE'’. This marked their third tour stop in Japan following Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka, and their first stadium performance in Japan since debut.
The venue was filled with STAY, the group’s official fandom, from all over Japan. The concerts on the 11th, 17th, and 18th were also live-streamed in theaters nationwide, and the May 17 show was streamed online via a paid platform, drawing over 110,000 viewers.
The setlist featured hit tracks including ‘소리꾼’, ‘Chk Chk Boom’, ‘神메뉴’, ‘특’, ‘Walkin On Water’, and their Japanese original song ‘GIANT’. A surprise performance of the title track ‘Hollow’ from their upcoming third Japanese mini-album was also unveiled. The song blends the English word “hollow” and the Korean word “홀로” to express feelings of emptiness and loneliness with emotional lyrics and soothing melody.
The concert featured fireworks, character mascots, and large balloons to enhance the festive atmosphere. Members rode moving platforms to greet fans up close. At the end of the show, they shared heartfelt thanks, saying, “Thanks to STAY, we were able to make this stadium performance happen.”
Following the Japan concerts, Stray Kids will head to North America and Europe, beginning with Seattle on May 24. Their tour includes 55 shows across 34 cities, aiming to attract 2.2 million fans in total. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
