Highlight Releases New Song Under "BEAST" Name After 9 Years…"A Deeply Moving Historical Moment"

The group Highlight (Highlight) shared their feelings about releasing a new song under their former team name, BEAST (BEAST).

Highlight (Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, Son Dongwoon) held an online press conference on the 28th at 4 PM to commemorate the release of their 6th mini-album, 'From Real to Surreal.'

With the pre-release song 'Endless Ending,' they unveiled a new track under the name BEAST for the first time in nine years. Yang Yoseob said, "It is truly deeply moving." He added, "The name BEAST itself has the power to make me emotional, and 'Endless Ending' is a very precious song that allowed BEAST’s halted time to start again."

He continued, "Since many people have memories with BEAST, I felt a bit of pressure to present a great song and live performance," adding, "It was a moment filled with many emotions and felt like a truly historic occasion."

Meanwhile, the title track 'Chains,' written and composed by member Lee Gikwang, is a hip-hop song that begins with a fresh clarinet riff. It portrays a story of a maddening love that one cannot escape, combining an addictive melody with Highlight's signature sensuous vocals to deliver energetic charm.

Highlight's 6th mini-album 'From Real to Surreal' will be released on the 28th at 6 PM.
